Sprites continue into the Treasure Hunters mini-season from Nov 1: the trailer shows new red, blue and purple variants on the Pirate Chest; Epic has not said whether Sprite Dust and Gizmos carry over.

How Sprites work
Cheat Codes (arrow-sequence chests) are the main source; purple codes have better variant odds and gold codes guarantee a variant. Cheat Code Locators point to the nearest one.
You keep a Sprite only if you extract it: an Extraction Site, a Portable Extractor, or winning the match. Die first and it is gone.
Sprite Dust re-summons a Sprite you already own at an Extraction Site once every 24 hours; mastering a Sprite halves the cost.
Klombo levels only from Health and Shield consumables; Crown levels only from wins; Killswitch spawns more at night.
Lobby Hack codes give free Cheat Master Sonic, Tails, 8-Bit, Adventure and Jonesy plus Gold Jonesy; Wrixel's Get Crafty quests give Cheat Master Bush.
