Sprite tier list
27 Sprites ranked for three ways to play. Switch the mode and the list re-sorts; the note says why each one lands where it does. Sprite data from the Sprites tracker (October 31, 2026), tiers judged October 31, 2026.
All Sprites, all modes
| Sprite | Rarity | BR | Zero Build | Ranked | Ability | Why |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adventure | Rare | S | A | S | Upgrades a random inventory item at each level. | Free rarity upgrades every level; in Ranked it turns early loot into gold without a bench. |
| Jonesy | Rare | S | S | S | Restores some Health or Shield shortly after you take damage. | Free health or shield after every trade; the best sustain Sprite and easy to find. |
| Shadow | Epic | S | A | S | Reloads your weapons over time, even the ones you are not holding. | Passive reloads on every weapon make shotgun-to-AR swaps free and end 'caught reloading' deaths. |
| Sonic | Epic | S | S | S | Increases sprint speed. | Sprint speed wins rotations, chases and escapes in every mode. |
| Blinky | Legendary | A | S | A | Taking damage cloaks you briefly. | A cloak on damage breaks line of sight without a wall; Zero Build players call it the panic button. |
| Jackrabbit | Legendary | A | A | A | One more jump while already in the air. | A double jump reaches roofs and ledges without building and dodges shotgun lines. |
| Killswitch | Epic | A | B | A | Enters Hangtime with improved accuracy. | Hangtime with better accuracy makes double-pump style jump shots land. |
| Overshield | Rare | A | S | A | Grants Overshield that grows with each level. | Extra effective HP that grows per level; in Zero Build it is the difference in open-field fights. |
| Pond | Epic | A | A | A | Jumping right after landing gives a Super Jump. | Super Jump on landing chains with slides for fast rotations; pairs with Sonic. |
| Spooky Dash | Mythic | A | A | B | Phase through some objects mid-air; charges refill over time. | Phasing through objects mid-air is the best escape tool of Fortnitemares; Mythic rarity makes it inconsistent to find. |
| Tails | Epic | A | A | B | Lets you hover in the air. | Hover for repositioning and peeks; strong casual value, risky against good aim. |
| Vampire | Legendary | A | A | A | Recovers health when you damage an enemy. | Health back for damage dealt rewards aggression and saves heals. |
| X-Ray | Legendary | A | A | A | Periodically marks nearby enemies; radius grows per level. | Periodic marks on nearby enemies; information wins endgames. |
| 8-Bit | Rare | B | B | B | An 8-Bit Shotgun in your first chest, plus a score multiplier. | A guaranteed shotgun from your first chest is a safe opener, then it does little. |
| Bush | Rare | B | A | B | Spawns a bush on you periodically; at max level, a bush on each elimination. | A bush on you is camouflage in Zero Build and a reload cover; in builds it is mostly a meme. |
| Crash Bandicoot | Legendary | B | B | C | Mid-air spin attack that damages and knocks back nearby enemies. | The spin knocks players off builds and ledges; fun, situational. |
| Dumpster Dive | Epic | B | B | C | Food heals more; finds food when you jump out of hiding props. | Food heals more and hiding props drop food; cute, slow. |
| Klombo | Mythic | B | B | C | Random items at each level; levels only from Health or Shield consumables. | Random items per level sound great but it only levels from health and shield consumables. |
| Mega Man | Rare | B | B | B | Less friction when sliding or swimming, so you slide farther. | Longer slides are real mobility, just less than Sonic or Pond. |
| Morgana | Epic | B | A | B | Healing items work better. | Healing items heal more; quiet but strong where fights are longer. |
| Onigiri | Rare | B | B | B | Triggers Overdrive after you eat or drink a consumable. | Overdrive after eating or drinking; fine with a consumable-heavy loadout. |
| Storm Scout | Rare | B | B | A | Triggers Overdrive after enough Storm damage. | Overdrive from storm damage rewards the late rotations Ranked forces on you. |
| Birthday | Unlisted | C | C | D | Chests can serve cake slices; at max level, eliminations can too. | Cake slices from chests heal a little; a collectible more than a Sprite. |
| Crown | Mythic | C | C | D | Extra Crown Wins after a Victory Royale; levels only by winning. | Extra Crown Wins after a Victory Royale; no in-match effect, and Ranked does not care. |
| Honey | Unlisted | C | C | C | Sends bees after enemies who damage you. | Bees after attackers do chip damage; a distraction at best. |
| One Wish Willow | Unlisted | C | C | D | Helps you collect other Sprites. | Helps you collect other Sprites: great for completion, nothing in a fight. |
| The Deer | Legendary | C | C | D | Increases melee damage. | More melee damage matters only if you pickaxe people. |
How we rank
Battle Royale
Builds reset fights, so mobility, sustain and free upgrades (Sonic, Jonesy, Adventure, Shadow) beat defensive Sprites.
Zero Build
No walls means effective HP and line-of-sight breakers rise: Overshield and Blinky join the top, Bush becomes real camouflage.
Ranked
Lobbies rotate late and play slow: Storm Scout climbs, meme Sprites (Crown, Birthday, One Wish Willow) fall to D because they do nothing in a fight.
