Read. Pray. Keep the year.

Choose your tradition once. The translation, the prayers and the calendar follow it.

01 / READ

The Bible your church reads.

King James, Douay-Rheims, Brenton’s Septuagint or the World English Bible. Highlight in five colors, bookmark, write notes, or have a chapter read aloud.

02 / PRAY

Pray with your hands, too.

The Rosary with all four sets of mysteries, the Angelus, a prayer rope for the Jesus Prayer, the Kyrie and the Agpeya — plus your own list of intentions.

03 / KEEP THE YEAR

Know what today is.

Each day opens with its feast or season, a verse and a short message. The app takes on the liturgical color of the day.

Feasts, fasts
and seasons.

Lumen follows your tradition’s calendar — Western, Orthodox on the New or Old Calendar, Coptic, Ethiopian or Armenian — so the day you see is the day your church is keeping.

  • Feasts, fasting days and liturgical colors
  • Western Easter and Orthodox Pascha, each by its own reckoning
  • U.S. holidays alongside the Church year
  • A verse and a message for every day

Plus notes you can export to Word or print, verse images to share, and a Library of everything you’ve saved.

Your prayers stay yours.

No account, ads or analytics. Every Bible text is built into the app, so it works without a connection. Your notes, highlights, bookmarks and intentions stay on your device.
