Charger prices to expect
- Tesla Supercharger: about $0.35 to $0.55 per kWh in the US, time-of-day pricing, lower with a $12.99 membership for non-Teslas; roughly €0.45 to €0.65 in Europe.
- Electrify America / EVgo / ChargePoint: $0.48 to $0.64 per kWh, $4 to $7 a month plans cut 20 to 25%; some states still bill by the minute.
- Ionity (EU): €0.39 to €0.79 per kWh depending on plan; UK rapid chargers: 69 to 85 p per kWh.
- China: ¥1.2 to ¥2.0 per kWh at public fast chargers.
- Idle fees: $0.50 to $1.00 a minute once you pass 80% or finish at a busy site.
